Parents & Friends Association
A special, close-knit feeling where the entire school community thrives.
Our Saviour Lutheran School is immensely proud of its strong sense of community.
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) plays a vital role in this, and aims to bring parents, children and families together and foster a caring and loving environment.
We invite parents, care-givers and extended family members to share in the life of their child and help them build strong and positive foundations for life.
There are many ways to enrich the life of the school, including:
Class Carers Creating a caring school culture.
Each class has two Class Carers. These are parents who have volunteered to be the eyes and ears to any changes that may happen in the classroom, and in the lives of our school families. The Class Carers work closely with the Community Carer and Chaplain to enhance the caring culture within our school.
Change, even positive change can add stress to a family. When a Class Carer sees a need for support, they may organise a meal to be sent home, a play date for children, or a coffee catch-up for a chat.
Each term, Class Carers also organise events where class families can come together socially outside of school time.
